This month’s updates make it easier to segment your audience, capture more opt-ins, and track performance, especially for Shopify users. From A/B testing tools to smarter flows and discount tracking, everything’s designed to help you get more from every message.
✂️ Splist List Segmenting
Available in: Client Admin > Segments
You can now split your subscriber list into evenly distributed groups—perfect for A/B testing or sending staggered campaigns.
To use it:

Create a new segment.

Choose
Other > Split List
from the dropdown. -
Select how many groups you want (2, 3, or 4) and assign a Segment Split Group number.
✅ This helps you test strategies, compare messaging, and send controlled variations to different parts of your list.
Note: To fully split your audience, you’ll need to create a separate segment for each group. Use the same Number of Groups in each segment, and assign a different Segment Split Group to each one.
For example, to split your list 50/50:
Create one segment with
Segment Split Group: 1
Create another segment with
Segment Split Group: 2
📌 TapOnIt uses subscriber IDs to assign groups, so new subscribers are automatically and consistently placed, keeping your segments balanced over time.
🛍️ Shopify Embedded Form Widget
Available in: Shopify Stores
You can now embed a TapOnIt sign-up form directly into your Shopify store using app blocks. This gives shoppers more opportunities to subscribe, outside of just the pop-up.

🔁 New Flow Options for Shopify Opt-Ins
Available in: Flows
Now you can create two different flows for Shopify opt-ins:

Shopify Pop-Up: Triggers when someone signs up using the TapOnIt pop-up.

Shopify Embedded Form: Triggers when someone signs up via the embedded form.
💡 This gives you more control over the experience and allows you to test different automations based on how people subscribe.
If no flows are assigned to these triggers, the system defaults to your existing Shopify opt-in flow.
🧩 New Shopify Segmenting Options
Available in: Segments > Integrations > Shopify
More ways to personalize your campaigns! You can now segment subscribers based on:

Viewed Product
Target subscribers who’ve viewed specific products within a selected timeframe. -
Added to Cart
Create segments based on which products subscribers added to their cart. -
Purchased (Timeframe)
Re-engage customers based on when they last made a purchase.
These new filters make it easy to build ultra-targeted re-engagement and win-back campaigns.
💸 Shopify Discount Code Tracking
Available in: Client Admin > Discount Codes (Shopify only)
Track the impact of your Shopify discount codes in one place—whether or not the sale came through TapOnIt.
You’ll see:

Total Orders
-
New Customer Orders
-
Revenue
You can filter by date, view individual code performance, and start/stop tracking with a click.
TapOnIt started tracking coupon performance on June 18, 2025—so that’s the earliest date you’ll see metrics from.
