Adding an API text opt-in to your website is a great way to promote database growth when you have some coding experience.
The way to add an API integration differs per website platform, which is where the coding experience comes in handy. We recommend doing some research on how an API integration works in your website’s platform so you’re prepared.

Once you’re ready, you can access your TapOnIt API key by logging into your admin dashboard, clicking ‘Automations’ in the left sidebar, then clicking ‘API.’ Your API key may already be generated for you - just copy it! If it is not, click ‘Generate New API Key’ and set its permissions!
After you’ve integrated your API key into your website, do not delete it in your TapOnIt admin dashboard. This will break the connection, requiring you to generate a new API key and update the old key to the new key in all places.
