Shopify Pop-Up Builder Updates

We’ve redesigned the Pop-Up Builder to make it easier to use and more customizable than ever:

  • Live Preview: Toggle between mobile and desktop views while editing.

  • Tabbed Navigation: Streamlined layout makes setup faster.

  • 2-Step Form: Now collect emails before phone numbers (email integration required).

  • Floating Button: After dismissing a pop-up, users can re-open it with a new floating button in the bottom-left corner of your site.

  • New Themes: Choose between “Classic” or “Rounded” for a look that fits your brand style.

New Shopify Triggers & Automations

Automated messages help you reach the right customer at the right time — without any manual effort. We’ve expanded our library of triggers to help you recapture sales, re-engage past customers, and reward loyalty.

All automations can be created and managed under the Shopify tab in your TapOnIt dashboard. Simply click Create Automation and select your desired trigger type.

Abandoned Browse

Triggered when a subscriber visits a product page but does not add it to their cart. After a delay you set, a message is sent with a link to the product page and optional product image.

Price Drop

Triggered when a product in someone’s cart drops in price by 20% or more and they haven’t purchased it in the last 30 days. The message includes the product details and a link to purchase.

Low Inventory

Triggered when a viewed product’s inventory drops below 10 and the subscriber hasn’t purchased it in the last 30 days. Helps create urgency for customers who were on the fence.

Subscribers will not receive more than one triggered message within a 24-hour period to prevent message fatigue. Low inventory messages will only be re-triggered once a product’s stock rises above the threshold and drops again.

Shipping Notifications

Keep customers informed once their order is on the way or delivered.

To use shipping and delivery triggers, your Shopify store must be connected to a tracking tool (like AfterShip, ShipStation, or UPS) that sends order status updates back to Shopify.

  • Order Shipped: Sent when an order is marked as shipped in Shopify. Can include tracking link and image.

  • Order Delivered: Triggered through a flow when an order is delivered. Great for collecting reviews or following up post-purchase.

To set up an Order Delivered flow, go to Flows > Create Flow > Integration > Order Delivered Template, and customize as needed.

Revenue Tracking & New Dashboard

We’ve redesigned your admin dashboard to give you a more complete and customizable view of how your text message marketing is performing — including revenue insights, growth trends, and detailed comparisons over time.

Your Week in Review

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll now see a summary of your key performance metrics from the last 7 days, compared to the previous 7-day period. This section includes visual trend arrows and percentage changes to help you quickly understand what’s improving and where there may be opportunities to optimize.

Advanced Performance View

This powerful new view allows you to dig deeper into your data — with full control over time ranges and side-by-side comparisons.

  • By default, the metrics display data from the last 7 days, including today.

  • Click on the Primary Period to adjust the date range (e.g., last 30 days, last month, custom range).

  • Use the Add Comparison button to see how your selected period stacks up against the previous period. For example, if you’re viewing April, the comparison will default to March.

Each metric in the view will display arrows and percentage changes so you can easily track growth, declines, and areas of consistency.

Flexible Comparisons

To ensure you're comparing apples to apples, the comparison period will automatically match the duration of your primary period. However, if you want to compare two completely different time ranges (e.g., April vs. January), you can check the box labeled “Unlock comparison date range” and adjust each timeframe independently.

Keep in mind that comparing periods with different lengths may skew certain metrics like net subscriber growth or averages, so use this option when a custom comparison is more valuable than a direct side-by-side.
